Our Story
Before Door County became home, it was just a summer destination.
My name is Rimvy. I first came to Door County as a J-1 student from Lithuania, and I met my wife here. In 2020, we decided to stay and build our life in Door County.
Growing up in Lithuania, sauna culture has always been part of my life. I’ve been using outdoor, wood-burning saunas since I was a kid, often followed by cold plunges or rolling in the snow. For me, sauna is more than heat — it’s ritual, connection, and time in nature. It’s also a place to socialize, slow down, and truly connect with others.
When we began living in Door County year-round, I was surprised how hard it was to find that traditional experience. There was only one public sauna at the YMCA, but I was looking for something outdoors, wood-fired, and more private.
I couldn’t justify buying a sauna just for myself, so I decided to build one on a trailer.
At first, people weren’t sure how a sauna on wheels would work. But I believed this experience would resonate here. Slowly, curiosity turned into bookings, and bookings turned into repeat clients.
Today, we operate two mobile sauna units serving Door County— delivering authentic sauna experiences directly to homes, cabins, and vacation rentals year-round. Whether it’s winter, summer, fall, or spring, sauna brings people together for couples’ nights, gatherings with friends, wellness retreats, and special celebrations.
What started as a simple idea has grown into something we’re proud to share with our community.
